Gardenstown hit by harbour theft

Grampian Police are appealing for witnesses after an outboard motor was stolen from a yacht in Gardenstown harbour.

The theft occurred some time between 5pm on Sunday, September 30, and 10am on Saturday,
October 6.

Investigating officer, PC Jack Saville, said: “We would like to hear from anyone who has information about this crime or who has seen any suspicious people or vehicles in the Gardenstown harbour area in recent
weeks.

“I’d also like to remind boat owners and those with property or equipment in the harbour area to make things difficult for thieves by ensuring they keep everything locked up and
secure.”
