MP supports memorial

In advance of the annual Holocaust Memorial Day, which this year takes place on Friday, January 27, Banff and Buchan Member of Parliament Dr Eilidh Whiteford has added her signature to a pledge of support for the aims of the day.Dr Whiteford said:

“I am delighted to once again be able to pledge my support for the aims of Holocaust Memorial Day, which is a now well-established opportunity for everyone to learn the lessons from the Holocaust, and subsequent genocides. . .

“This year’s theme of speaking up and speaking out about discrimination and persecution is particularly resonant.”
