Local hair and beauty business, Studio 2 raised an impressive £2045 during a ‘Pamper day’ last month.

Homebakes, raffles, beauty and hair treatments were on offer to everyone and anyone who made a donation of their choice.

The money raised from the ‘Pamper’ day will go towards building a church in Watoto Village in Uganda which is a village for children that have been abandoned.

Angela Auld from Studio 2 said:

“We would like to thank everyone for coming down and helping out to raise money for Watoto Village.

“Every donation made such a difference. Our idea was that we could raise money doing what we do and everyone could get glammed up a bit.

“My brother has been out to Watoto Village and first time they built a house when they went out and in 2011 fitted out a classroom. Hopefully with the money raised from our ‘Pamper’ day it can go towards building a church for the village.

“Also the children from Total Church are hoping to come out to Fraserburgh on April 6 for an AOG concert and will be here for the one night which will be a great thing for them and the Broch.”
