Delighted: Councillor Topping hopes that improvements will continue in the town.

Local councillor Brian topping has had a number of successful campaigns for the town and aims to keep succeeding.

Cllr Topping recently campaigned to have a pavement put around Tesco in Fraserburgh and this construction has already started.

He told the Herald: “I am delighted as a pavement around Tesco is necessary for all those who walk to do their shopping or who simply walk around it.”

Cllr Topping also had a number of requests to have litter bins put in at the Boothby bypass. He has been supporting this campaign for sometime as many find it difficult without bins especially dog walkers who need to dispose of their dog waste. Cllr Topping said that bins will be going up this week.

Furthermore, the broken beacons at Denmark Street have been repaired after Cllr Topping had various meetings with management at Langstane Housing.

Cllr Topping also said he was happy about the new tennis court fencing in the Broch, saying: “I raised this issue a long time ago and I am pleased about the fencing.

“There was broken fencing at the skateboard park and Ian Tillet from the council thought we should take this down and put it up at the tennis courts where it would have better use. I am pleased with the recent improvements in the town and hope they keep coming.”
