ACE Winches host Strichen Young Farmers

ACE Winches recently welcomed Strichen Young Farmers for a tour of the company’s manufacturing facilities at Towie Barclay Works, Turriff, organised by Gavin Buchan, a Modern Apprentice at ACE Winches and chairman of the Strichen JAC.

Following a presentation by external relations manager Karen Mutch, detailing the many different facets of the company, manufacturing operations manager Antony Llewellynn gave the visitors an insight into the operational aspects of the manufacturing facility, from machining and fabrication through to hydraulics and assembly.

The visitors were highly impressed with the tour of the facilities and relayed their appreciation at the end of the evening, which was rounded off with stovies and refreshments for all.

ACE Winches as a global leader in the design, manufacture and hire of hydraulic winches, marine deck machinery and associated personnel for the offshore oil and gas, marine and renewable energy and construction markets, actively engages in local community initiatives, with further plans to develop its involvement in the region. ACE Manufacturing is a turnkey solution provider with a proven track record in the design, manufacture and installation of high quality standard and bespoke winching and deck machinery.
