FINALIST: Hall Morrices audit and accounts manager Paul Archibald has been nominated for the Young Accountant of the Year award.

Chartered accountancy practice Hall Morrice, which has offices in Aberdeen and Fraserburgh, has been announced as a finalist in two categories of the 2012 Scottish Accountancy Awards.

The firm is in competition against other leading accountancy practices from across Scotland for the coveted title of Best Small Firm; awarded to an accountancy practice with 50 or fewer employees.

Hall Morrice also has a finalist nomination for Paul Archibald in the Young Accountant of the Year category.

The winners of the awards will be announced in Glasgow on Thursday, June 21.

“We’re very proud of our track record of developing the next generation of accountancy professionals,” said senior partner Hugh Hall. “We manage to retain 90% of our work placements once they graduate and we work hard as a senior team to make Hall Morrice a long term career option for these young accountants...”
