Meeting to discuss future of caravan park

A public meeting is being held in Rosehearty next week to discuss the future of Rosehearty Caravan Park.

The meeting is being coordinated by the Fraserburgh Development Trust at the request of Rosehearty Community Council.

The Trust is currently in discussion with Aberdeenshire Council regarding the future of Fraserburgh Caravan Site.

The Rosehearty site has been dormant for a number of years and the Trust is keen to gauge the level of local support and interest in working towards the reopening of the Rosehearty site.

“We have spoken with the community council are feel we need to see what people in Rosehearty want, so we hope that there will be a large turnout to local people to say what they would want to see in future.

“A project such as this hinges on community support and we would want to work with Rosehearty community should they wish to see the caravan park in Rosehearty brought back into use,” said Trust Chairman Ian Watson.

The meeting is scheduled to take place in Rosehearty Primary School, Pitsligo Street, at 7:30pm on Monday, February 6, 2012.
