Attempted robbery at Broch off licence

Grampian Police are investigating an attempted robbery which occurred at an off licence conveniance store known as Ninas at 67 Broad Street, Fraserburgh.
The incident occurred about 9pm last nigth (Wednesday), with the shopkeeper left shaken by the incident, but uninjured.

Officers are keen to trace a male in connection with this crime who was wearing all black clothing and was about 5' 8" tall.

He ran off along Broad Street and down Frithside Street, past the front of the Royal Hotel and towards the harbour.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the attack and may be a witness to the incident.
