FRASERBURGH Business Association's Hanging Baskets project came to fruition this week when almost 70 baskets were put up outside business premises in and around Fraserburgh town centre.

John Maitland, chairman of the association, said:

"One of the strengths of the FBA is our desire to improve the town centre area.

"Many other towns have hanging baskets and it is good to see Fraserburgh with a fine display of them this year. We hope that they will be appreciated by residents and visitors alike."

Fraserburgh Futures Partnership has coordinated and supported this project which aims to enhance the retail areas of the town, radiating out from the town centre.

The project has been made possible thanks to the help of Aberdeenshire Towns Partnership funding through Fraserburgh Futures Partnership.
