A FRASERBURGH woman has been jailed for nine months after a string of offences.
A FRASERBURGH woman has been jailed for nine months after a string of offences.
Wemyss, 23, of Fernie Place Fraserburgh, was found guilty of numerous shoplifting offences in Fraserburgh and Peterhead and of breaching bail conditions.
Her defence stated that she had become involved with a bad crowd and that her "life had gone downhill in dramatic fashion since she became involved with drugs," the defence continued:
"she's in a hole and is digging deeper and deeper." One of the offences Wemyss was guilty of was stealing from a friend's purse which the defence described as "rock-bottom."
