A Fraserburgh man has been jailed for six months for supplying heroin.
David Strachan was handed the sentence at Peterhead Sheriff Court this week after officers discovered a quantity of drugs with an estimated street value of £20,000 underneath his bed at his home in 29 Scalloway Park.
Strachan admitted the charge.
Mr Strachan is said to have allowed his flat to be used as a hiding place for the drugs after two Liverpool dealers approached him. His payment for selling the drugs was to use some for his own use.
