Fraserburgh & District Pool League leaders the Bellslea needed to win the final two frames to defeat the Elizabethan 8-6.
The Tufted Duck came from 4-1 down at home to the Bancar to win 8-6, Cheers lost 2-12 at home to the Pittendrum and the Drum managed to get a team together, although they lost 0-14 to a very good Legion side.

Tonight (Thursday) league fixtures are
as follows: Pittendrum v Drum, Bancar v Bellslea, Legion v Elizabethan, Enigma v Tufted duck and Cheers have a free week. There is also a 50/50 draw in Enigma at 7.40pm

Thomas crowned champion!

THOMAS Bannon's 5-3 defeat of Joe Sayers in the Top Break Pool Singles League put him on 42 points, crossing the 40-point mark, the target for lifting the season two league title.

Season three started onTuesday and there will also be a one frame knockout nine-ball competition every week at £1 per head with half the entry fee paid out in prizes.
