SOME of the those who took part in a Sponsored Walk recently organised by the Broch Seals to raise money for FISSH.

Some of the older walkers took part in a 25 mile hike, setting off from Mintlaw at 9am in the morning, then they walked to Strichen, had lunch at the Community Park, before being met by another group of walkers and setting off on another 10 mile hike.

At Lonmay, they met another batch of the younger swimmers and headed off for the Broch Beach which was another six miles. Apart from some blisters and skint knees, the group had a great day and stayed dry in the process. ACF30608-0437
