ROSEHEARTY Golf Club coaches Pearl Burnett and Sandra Ross ran a golf competition for the Rosehearty School pupils.
ROSEHEARTY Golf Club coaches Pearl Burnett and Sandra Ross ran a golf competition for the Rosehearty School pupils.

Mrs McLeman, Rosehearty School Head Teacher, noted the interest that was generated form this last year when it commenced, and has arranged for an annual event for her school children to participate in.

The winner was Shannon Murray and the runner-up Carla Mackay.

"Shannon, along with the other kids, has shown great potential over the last two seasons, and has successfully reduced her golf handicap by a considerable amount in two out of three of her last games.

"We have already filled the 12 spaces for 2008-09 Club Golf coaching and are in progress to attaining a third coach at Rosehearty to assist Pearl and I, noting the increasing numbers. Charlie Mackie will join us later in the season," explained Sandra Ross.
