Cadets excel

A group of Sea Cadets has won silver at an Area football competition.

Grampian District entered a Senior Girls football team into the Area Competition which was made up of cadets from all the units in the district.

Teams from across Scotland, Northern England and Northern Ireland competed, with Able Cadet Marian Baird being chosen to join the team to represent this district.

The competition was held at Trinity, south of Edinburgh, where after five hours of competition, Grampian District Girls achieved Silver. Grampian also won the overall trophy for the district with the most points gained in the competition with all categories (boys and girls) added together.

Fraserburgh Sea Cadets are recruiting now.
