The Fraserburgh and District Men’s Probus Club met in the South Church Hall on Wednesday, March 11.

John McRobbie was on door duty.

The speakers were Marie Johnstone, Senior Waste Officer, and Neil Matthew, Area Waste Officer, who gave a talk and showed the club members various items they used when dealing with ‘New Food Waste and Recycling’ in the Aberdeenshire area.

As this is a subject of interest to all, many questions were put to the speakers in regards to domestic recycling.

The vote of thanks was given by Neil Robertson.

The club’s next meeting is on March 25 when the speaker will be Jim Farish, Governor of the new Peterhead Prison.

Club members should note that a visit has been arranged to RAF Lossiemouth on Wednesday, April 1, departing by bus at 8.15am, from Fraserburgh Leisure Centre.

Remember to take all necessary identification.
