Fraserburgh’s Heritage Centre received an extra-special gift this Christmas following a family taking inspiration from an exhibition at the North-east tourist attraction.

The card, which was sent to the Heritage Centre for Christmas, shows the nautical flags presented in a manner to spell out word, the message reading: “Silent Night”.

A spokesperson at the Heritage Centre told the Fraserburgh Herald that they were delighted to have received the gift.

“We we surprised and delighted to get a Christmas card this year from people who obviously enjoyed their visit to the Fraserburgh Heritage Centre,” they said.

The Fraserburgh Herald was told that the family were inspired by their visit to the Heritage Centre so much that, last year, they decided to theme their Christmas cards on their visit.

The Heritage Centre will be looking to inspire further people when it opens for the season, with new exhibitions,
later this year.

The Heritage Centre will re-open for business on April 1, from 12pm to 4pm.

Before then, however, the Heritage Society will be holding a car boot sale at the Leisure Centre on March 14.

Full details on the car boot sale are available on the ‘What’s On’
section.
