St Comb’s BB’s award

Sergeant Alexander Strachan, 1st St Combs BB Company, was recently presented with his President’s Badge by Mr Jim Alexander, a former company captain of 17 years.

The award was made at the company’s annual parents’ night which also marked the 1st St Combs’ 85th anniversary.

The company was founded by schoolmaster Edwin Duthie under a scheme to celebrate the BB Jubilee in 1932/33.

Sergeant Strachan will now start working towards his Queen’s Badge - the highest award in the Boys’ Brigade.

The company meets at St Combs Primary School, Hick Street.
