Elaine to return to panto

leading Scots actress Elaine C Smith will return to His Majesty’s Theatre to star in this year’s pantomime, Snow White and Seven Dwarfs, following a sell-out success in Jack and the Beanstalk last Christmas and most recently in the Susan Boyle musical I Dreamed A Dream,.

This is the fourth consecutive year that she has headlined the city theatre’s Christmas show, and this year she returns to being bad as she takes on the role of The Wicked Queen!

“We are thrilled that Elaine, Alan and Jordan will be returning to the stage of His Majesty’s in what promises to be another spectacular and sell-out family pantomime,” says Michael Harrison, managing director of Qdos Entertainment and executive producer of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

“Every year more and more people come to see the Aberdeen pantomime which has become one of the most successful shows in Scotland.

“We are absolutely delighted that the top panto team in Scotland will be returning to HMT for a fourth successive year,” said APA acting chief executive Kathleen Scott.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs runs at His Majesty’s Theatre in Aberdeen from Saturday, December 1, to Sunday, January 6. Tickets are available online at www.boxofficeaberdeen.com, by phone at 01224 641122 and at Aberdeen Box Office and His Majesty’s Theatre.
