The Assembly of God, Queens Road, Fraserburgh, is holding its seventh annual woman’s weekend conference on Friday, September 23 and Saturday, September 24.
Over the years this weekend has become a great success and the organisers are delighted to welcome all ladies what-ever age group, it is good to see new faces and meet up with women who have come over the years.
Speaking to the Herald, one of the organisers said: “The title for the weekend conference is You’re Beautiful and we will begin our first meeting on Friday at 7.30pm.
“This is get to know you time and our speaker will tell us her story. We will then enjoy some tea and fellowship.
“Saturday begins with brunch before our first meeting session again followed by coffee, then we will have a fun hour, a time for some laughter and fellowship, followed by a meal at the Ban Car before our evening session.
“The speaker this year is Julie Murray, who is originally from Northern Ireland and is at present head of the Teen Challenge School of Ministry. Julie is a woman of great talent, an anointed and gifted speaker.
“Julie will be joined by her friend Amanda McKendrick, who is also from Northern Ireland.
“Amanda is a beautiful singer and we look forward to hearing her ministry of song over the weekend.
“So ladies if you enjoy good fun, food and fellowship, a weekend without kids please come along to the Assembly of God Fraserburgh where you will be warmly welcomed.”
There is no cost for the weekend, only for the meal on Saturday which costs £12, and ladies do not need to attend all meetings.
