Despite the good on-field work of the Peterhead players and management, the club was engulfed by an off the field storm last week.
After a man plead guilty to making a racial remark to an opposition player at Balmoor, senior club officials were eager to put the incident behind them. Club chaplain Rev. Neil Cameron spoke to the Buchanie: “This is a fantastic club and I am thankful that the individual has been caught and has been dealt with so let’s move on.
“I would say it’s totally unfair for the actions of one individual to become a brushstroke against the club. The atmosphere is great here, the people are great and working hard to create a family atmosphere.
