This year’s Blue Light Festival in Fraserburgh has been hailed a fantastic success - with a great turnout despite wet weather.
The annual event, which took place on Sunday, May 11, at Fraserburgh Leisure Centre, featured a range of demonstrations, displays and family entertainment.
All of the emergency services were represented at the event, with Police Scotland, the Scottish Ambulance Service and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service providing demonstrations throughout the afternoon.
Also present were the Sea Cadets, the British Red Cross and the Army Cadets.
As well as the emergency services being present, the Fraserburgh RBL Pipe Band performed and festival-goers had the chance to watch the ‘Strong Man Competition’.
There was further entertainment from South Park School choir, belly dancers and 6.1.0 Dance Academy.
