A major upgrade to Fraserburgh Hospital has recently been completed by leading construction company Mansell.

The work, which was carried out in four phases over a two-year period, saw Mansell carry out the complete refurbishment of the facility, including making alterations to the hospital’s existing ground floor level accommodation.

To mark the completion of the project the hospital held an official opening ceremony, during which both Mansell and NHS Grampian recognised the mutual cooperation of both parties to ensure the facility remained fully functional whilst work was carried out.

Iain Lumsden, area director, commented: “We have worked with NHS Grampian on numerous occasions in the past and have an excellent working relationship with the board, so we were delighted to complete another project so successfully for the team there.
