A young Fraserburgh mother, jailed in Bahrain after her husband accused her of adultery, has been reunited with her family in the UK.
Hannah James, 26, who formerly worked at the Waterside Inn in Peterhead, was imprisoned in December.
She was held for a month before her husband, Jassim Alhaddar, withdrew the allegations.
Ms James’ family confirmed that she had now returned and been reunited with her young son.
In a statement, they thanked everyone who had supported their campaign to bring her home.
Relatives had sought the assistance of the Foreign Office and MPs.
The young mum moved to the Middle East with her husband and son last year.
