A North-east accountancy firm has invested in a major refurbishment of one of their four offices.

SBP Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors, has invested more than £60,000 renovating its Banff premises in the town’s Carmelite Street.

The firm, which was set up more than 40 years ago, also has a presence in Aberdeen, Peterhead and Fraserburgh.

The revamp included an upgrade of both the exterior and interior of the building to create a new reception and client area, as well as redecoration throughout.

Partner, Peter Bruce, said: “The Banff office is based in a traditional building which had to be reconfigured to suit the way our business is operating today. It has created a much more pleasant environment for our staff and clients and allows us to consider the growth of the business in the future months.”

Last year, the company refurbished its Fraserburgh building to accommodate an increase in tax specialists as it continues to develop new services and products for the growing client base. SBP Accountants, which has 30 employees, hit a record turnover last financial year.
