Fraserburgh’s Synergy Kitesports have recently merged with NorthSurf Watersports, a fellow beachfront sports provider.
Breaking the news online, the Fraserburgh-based company, which moved into the former Seashore Centre at the beach earlier this year, said the merger would allow the business to offer a greater range of activities to members of the public.
“This merger will see the addition of a range of new activities, lessons and equipment rental available from our beach front centre here in Fraserburgh.
“The team from NorthSurf Watersports have a long running passion for the development of watersports here in North East Scotland and combined with their experience and skills we are confident this merger will help to secure the future growth and development of adventure sports in Fraserburgh and North East Scotland.
“In addition to the range of Kitesports lessons already available, this merger will see the introduction of windsurf and stand-up paddle boarding lessons as well as equipment rental,” read the statement.
