PET’S Palace is a new pet store which opened in the Broch in April this year. The store is owned by John and Pamela Duthie and is situated on Mid Street.

John told the Herald that his younger years were spent around animals and he had wanted to open up a local pet store in Fraserburgh for many years. The store has been extremely popular so far with a wide range of animals which are proving a big hit with children.

There are rabbits, guinea pigs and hamsters all for sale in the shop and when the Herald visited there was only one rabbit left due to the pet’s popularity. Tropical fish and cold water fish are also on sale at the store and have proved big sellers with John having to double his display of fish from six to 12 fish tanks.

John told the Herald “My wife and I saw an opportunity as there were no other pet stores open in town and we just took the chance. We are finding our feet here, so if we haven’t got a product that you are looking for, we pride ourselves on being able to order it specifically.”

The store has products on sale for even the most exotic animal owner, with live food on sale such as crickets and locusts. There are also a host of accessories on sale for all pets as well as everything for the fish owner along with pets treats and toys that your pet is sure to love.
