Preparations for one of the most important international events in the energy sector calendar have begun.
Over 63,000 delegates from across the globe are expected to attend Offshore Europe 2015 which will take place between September 8-11 at the AECC in Aberdeen.
Aberdeenshire Council, in partnership with Aberdeen City Council, has secured a prime spot at the exhibition to promote the north-east as an area of expertise and innovation in the energy sector.
Chairman of the council’s policy and resources committee, Cllr Jim Gifford, said: “The exhibition stand will provide a high-profile platform to emphasis the key role Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire-based companies perform in the energy supply chain.
“This will include Westhill, acknowledged as the global centre of excellence in subsea engineering and the establishment of a carbon capture and storage cluster in Peterhead.”
The exhibition space is two storeys high, with space on the ground floor and a lounge and presentation area on the first floor. Companies interested in booking space or becoming a sponsor should email firstname.lastname@example.org
