The Right Eminent Fr Ronald J. Simpson and Venerable Preceptor Eric Grant of the Knights Templars of Solomon Preceptory and Priory No.23 presenting a cheque for £300 towards Isla’s Dream.

Isla’s Dream is a charity which is aiming to raise £50,000 for an operation to help Fraserburgh girl Isla McNab.

Isla was born ten weeks prematurely which caused her to have spastic diplegia cerebral palsy, meaning she cannot walk independently.

Selective Dorsal Rhizotamy (SDR) is an operation available in the UK and USA which involves cutting some of the sensory nerve fibres that come from the muscles which will help Isla to walk.

Although she has limited mobility, Isla is a sociable little girl who takes part in various clubs including the Brownies and Girls Brigade.
