A Fashion Show was held at the North East Scotland College in Fraserburgh recently to raise funds for cancer support charity CLAN.

The event, which was run in conjunction with Tesco, was held at the Atrium of the college’s Fraserburgh campus.

Amongst those helping to organise the evening were students of the college and Tesco employees.

Funds were raised for the charity through ticket and raffle sales as well as those who paid for stalls for the evening.

Those attending the event could buy a range of high-end items including wedding dresses, ball gowns and jewellery.

Despite the wintry weather conditions on the night, the event raised a fantastic £645.80 for CLAN.

Ruth Cantrill, North Aberdeenshire Services Co-ordinator with CLAN, commented: “I was absolutely delighted with the input from Tesco.

“In particular, Emma and Lynda were instrumental in organising the event.

“The event wasn’t as well attended as we hoped but despite this we raised £645.80 for CLAN.

“The money raised will go towards providing services in Fraserburgh.”
