Christian aid roadshow

Fraserburgh United Reformed Church in Mid Street will welcome Dr Singh from the Christian Aid roadshow on Saturday September 10.

Dr Singh, who works with one of Christian Aid’s partners in Bangladesh will speak about the issues facing the people he works among and the difference made by the Christian Aid partners there.

Speaking to the Herald about the forthcoming event, Rev. Carol Anne Parker said: “Many of us respond in prayer and giving when disaster strikes but supporting ongoing development work in places where people are especially vulnerable is just as vital.

“The Christian Aid roadshow will give us the opportunity to find out about and perhaps even support ongoing development work which enables people to earn a fair wage and protect themselves from the sorts of disaster which are unfolding in East Africa even now.”

Everyone is encouraged to go along and find out more. No tickets are required to attend the event which will start at 7 pm and continue until 9 pm.
