Officers across the North East have carried out a Licensing operation in Peterhead, Fraserburgh, Elgin and Inverurie, visiting more than 60 premises to ensure licensees and staff are suitably trained and adhering to conditions to promote responsible drinking.
Two men, aged 32 and 40, are due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today, Monday, 30 January, 2017, in relation to 11 charges including theft by housebreaking, theft of a motor vehicle and other acquisitive crime.
Police Scotland are investigating an incident that occurred in the Sutherland Close area of Mintlaw around 1205 hours on Sunday, January 29, whereby a male was assaulted and personal items stolen from him.
