52 -year-old named in “unexplained” death

A 52-year-old man has been named as the deceased after an “unexplained” death in Fraserburgh on Saturday morning.

The body of Uldis Pulkstenis was found in the Westshore Gardens area at 10.25am on Saturday, February 13, Police Scotland have confirmed.

The death continues to be treated as unexplained and enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing as the investigation enters its sixth day.

No further details have been released but it is believed that Mr Pulsten was a Latvian man living in Fraserburgh.

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have information that could assist their enquiry and in particular would appeal to anyone who was in the Westshore Gardens area between 2pm on Friday, February 12, and 1am on Saturday, February 13.

They also wish to talk to anyone who knows Mr Pulkstenis.
