ATM stolen in BROCH GARAGE raid

Grampian Police are investigating the theft of an automated teller machine from Fraserburgh’Kessock Service Station.

The raid occurred at around 2.30am on Monday at the Maconochie Road premises.

It is strongly believed that a vehicle would have been used in this incident, and officers are keen to trace a dark coloured Land Rover Discovery and a dark coloured estate car which were seen near the garage at the time of the incident.

It is not known at this stage how much money was within the ATM machine. The cost of repair is estimated at a low four-figure sum to repair, with the machine itself valued at a low three figure sum of money.

Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to contact Grampian Police on 0845 600 5 700 or the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
