On Friday 27 April 2012, officers from Grampian Police Major Investigation Team assisted by officers from the Local Policing Team and CID, recovered ‘Crack’ Cocaine with a street value of approximately £3,000 from an address in Fraserburgh.

A 29 year old London male along with two local males aged 34 and 32 years and a female aged 26 years appeared at Peterhead Sheriff in Court on Monday 30 April 2012 in connection with the seizure.

Detective Inspector Goldie said: “This is a significant seizure of controlled drugs destined for the streets of Fraserburgh. Grampian Police will continue to target individuals and groups who peddle drugs in our communities and make our area a hostile place for them to operate”.

I would urge anyone who has information about those involved in drug supply to contact Grampian Police directly on 08456005700 or the charity Crimestoppers on 0800555111.”
