Drugs worth £17,000 found in Fraserburgh

Cocaine and heroin worth £17,000 has been found by police in the Fraserburgh area.

Following an intelligence led operation, on Thursday July 14 police recovered a large quantity of Heroin and ‘Crack’ Cocaine.

Detective Constable Richard Cooper from the Fraserburgh CID Pro-Active Department said: ‘’Police Scotland continue to target those who wish to involve themselves in drug activity and Organised Crime in the North East of Scotland area and will continue to make towns such as Fraserburgh a hostile place to deal drugs.

“I would like to thank the public for their continued assistance and urge anyone with information relating to drug dealing and drug related activity to contact Police Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
