Four charged after Broch drugs haul

Four people have been charged with drug offences following the seizure of heroin and crack cocaine in Fraserburgh yesterday.

Two men, aged 18 and 40, and two woman, aged 35 and 38, are expected to appear at Peterhead Sheriff Court today after the drugs with an estimated street value of £900 were found in the North Braeheads area.

DC Scott Mackay, of Aberdeenshire and Moray Division’s Organised Crime Investigation team, said: “We are committed to keeping people safe from anyone involved in the supply of controlled drugs and I would like to thank the public for their continual assistance, allowing us to take positive action through ongoing work such as Operation Banook.”
