More than £1,000 of cannabis found in Fraserburgh

A 38- year-old man has been arrested following the seizure of cannabis with a street value of more than £1000 in the Fraserburgh area.

The cannabis was recovered in the West Road area of Fraserburgh yesterday and the man is expected at appear at Peterhead Sheriff Court today.

PC Richard Cooper from the North Aberdeenshire Pro-Active Department said: ‘’This was an intelligence lead operation under the remit of Operation Banook which has led to a substantial quantity of controlled drugs being removed from the streets of Fraserburgh.’’
