Police Scotland is appealing for information after a trailer was stolen in the Fraserburgh area.

The Ifor Williams vehicle - reg. number N88 NTH - was taken from the West Road area of the town on Wednesday, March 8 at around 7.30pm.

The trailer, which is worth a low four figure sum, has a distinctive sticker on the rear of two Scotland flags.

PC Neale Gawthorpe, investigating officer, said: "The trailer was seen being driven away by a vehicle similar to a white Ford transit van.

"I would appeal to anyone who was in the area around the time in question and has information which could help to please get in touch.

"Likewise anyone who recognises the descriptions of the vehicles in question should also let us know.

"Call Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 if you would prefer to remain anonymous."
