Speeding has regularly been discussed at community council meetings in Fraserburgh for the past several months, members voicing their concerns over the speed at which people travel in and around the town.
At the last meeting of the Fraserburgh Community Council, members again expressed their views on speeders.
This week, the Fraserburgh Herald received a letter from a resident in Inverallochy, who wishes to remain anonymous, highlighting the problem is perhaps more widespread that just Fraserburgh.
In the letter, the resident alleges that speeding at Allochy Road has become obvious.
“Allochy Road used to be so quiet, but the actions of a few selfish, speeding and irresponsible drivers will ruin the road, probably ending up with us all having to suffer those awful speed bumps.
“Those few drivers know who they are, I hope they’re proud of themselves,” they added.
