Three to appear in court after Broch drug bust

Two men and a woman are expected to appear in court today following a drugs find in Fraserburgh worth an estimated street value of over £4300.

The men aged 23, 33 and 31 yea-old female will report to Peterhead Sheriff Court in relation to the recovery of heroin and cocaine in yesterday, Tuesday 15.

Detective Constable Tam Gorman, who led the operation said: “We are committed to tackling issues that communities highlight as concerning to them and we are reliant on the public’s support to enable us to take action.

“I would urge anyone with concerns to continue reporting them to us.”

The find was made following the execution of a drug search warrant in the Fernie Place area of Fraserburgh where a low three figure sum of cash was also recovered.

The intelligence led operation was conducted by officers from the Aberdeenshire and Moray Divisional Organised Crime Investigation Team and Buchan Community Policing Team.
