Two men have appeared in court today after being charged in relation to drug offences in Fraserburgh yesterday.

The men, aged 23 and 38, appeared at Peterhead Sheriff Court after £1900 worth of heroin and around £5,000 worth of cash was found in the Moray Road area.

The charges came following an intelligence led operation carried about by the Buchan Community Policing Team and Divisional Organised Crime Investigation Team.

A drug search warrant was executed and as a result heroin with an estimated street value of £1900 and a mid-four figure sum of cash was recovered.

Local officers were supported by a drugs dog and handler and the Operational Support Unit.
