Darts marathon raises funds for Westfield School

Michael Smith and Mary Hill have presented a cheque for £2386.00 to head teacher Kerri Dalton and pupils at Westfield School.

Michael Smith, Mary Hill and Alan ‘Smudge’ Smith played darts continuously for 12 hours in a darts marathon to raise the money.

Commenting, a spokesperson for Westfield School said: “A big thanks to all who helped achieve this by giving up their time to play and by generously donating money.

“This is now the third year that this group have supported Westfield School.

“We are really grateful for the support of the local community and appreciate the donation very much.”
