Pupils at Lochpots School got dressed up for Comic Relief last Friday, March 15.

Children from the nursery classes all the way up to P6/7, and their teachers, got involved in the fund-raising efforts.

By the end of the school day, pupils, parents and staff had raised £456 for the charity telethon.

Red noses were on sale and pupils had to bring a donation to wear red or something funny.

P3/4 teacher Miss Simpson wore a boiler suit for the event, with pupils getting the chance to guess how many red noses were on the boiler suit. There was also a design-a-donut competition and a sweepstake in the staff room.

One of the highlights of the day came during the assembly, when, to the surprise of pupils, all the teachers did a flashmob dance routine to ‘Gangnam Style’, which was captured on video.
