Rosehearty Primary School’s pupil council organised a coffee morning last month to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The pupils invited parents and members of the community to have their coffee in exchange for a donation to support the work of Macmillan Cancer Support.
The event was said to be very well supported and, in total, the pupil council raised £800 for the charity.
The pupil council presented the cheque for £800 to Maureen Simpson from the local Macmillan Cancer Support Group.
