A recent Breast Cancer Open Golf Tournament and Scottish Night, held at Inverallochy Golf Club, has raised £3,922.00 for the Breast Cancer Centre in Aberdeen.

Organiser Joy Heron presented a cheque to Professor Heys from the Centre following the successful event.

Joy said: “I would like to thank everyone at the club and all the volunteers for their help and all local businesses and people who handed in prizes and donations.

“The day was a great success and the money that was raised has gone to a great charity which is very close to my heart.”

Taking the Gray and Adams Men’s Shield on the day was James Ritchie, while the Fraserburgh Car Rally Ladies Trophy was awarded to Myra Ritchie.

The R&D Roy Boys Trophy was won by Shaun Jappy.
