Aden Country Park is set to treat families this festive season at the annual Christmas Fair where a special gift for someone can be bought.
The park, in Mintlaw, is hosting the event on Sunday, December 6 from 11am to 3pm.
Families will be able to find stocking fillers or a ‘special gift for that hard to buy for person’.
A park statement said: “Not only will be there be a fantastic range of local craft and food producers, but there will also be a Santa’s grotto, face painting, along with a selection of delicious winter warming foods and hot drinks in the recently refurbished Cafe at Aden.”
And there will be live, traditional Christmas music from the Deveron Brass Band.
Other activities on offer this year include an opportunity to help birds over the winter months by building a bird feeder with the Buchan Countryside Ranger.
The Cafe at Aden will also be offering a Christmas pop-up shop again this year, offering a ‘stylish selection of stocking fillers, decorations and an array of small gifts’.
‘Santa’ will be in his grotto - upstairs at the cafe - between 12pm and 2pm; tickets are available from the Aden Craft & Gift Shop for £5.
The statement added: “Why not bring the children and enjoy a fun, family friendly day in Aden Country Park, with a once in a lifetime chance to meet Santa, and an opportunity to both get Christmas presents and chance to tire the kids out at the children’s play area?”
The Aden Christmas Fair is being organised by the Friends of Aden Country Park, with any profits earned going towards improving the park and the organisation of future events or activities in Aden.
The park statement concluded: “Let’s try and keep Christmas local this year and join us in a fun filled, family day out.
“Support local crafts and food producers as well as support Aden Country Park, the jewel in the Buchan crown.”
