Local fishermen have thrown their support behind Fraserburgh’s Mission.
Members of the Scottish White Fish Producers Association have donated a cheque for £2,500 to the Broch Mission.
The cheque was presnted by Mr George West on behalf of the SWFPA at the Mission last week.
Accepting the cheque, Senior Port Missioner Murray Campbell told the Herald:
“We are absolutely delighted to receive this support.
“This shows the level of support our fishermen have for the work of the Mission that is carried out here.
These are times of pressure and hardship for our fishermen, they are going through a difficult period with pressure from Brussels, Edinburgh and London, yet, even at times like these, they can find the time and thought for the Mission and we really appreciate it,” he said.
