Aberdeenshire Council’s Four Towns plan will come back to councillors on the Banff and Buchan Area Committee next week.

Councillors had been largely critical of the report that had previously come before them earlier in the month, suggesting that the findings of the report, which details areas for improvement in their wards, provided little new information.

Speaking earlier this month, on the report, local councillor Brian Topping said: “There’s various comments in here about the disappointing food and drink on offer - not much accomodation - we know these things anyway.

“I think this is a very limp report, unexciting, and has told us things we already know.”

The Banff and Buchan Area Committee will meet on Tuesday, May 27, in Banff.
