Two local women have just completed their second annual fundraising campaign for the children of Westfield School in Fraserburgh.

Vicki Davidson and Audrey Reynolds, from Inverallochy and Cairnbulg respectively, have held a series of fundraising activities over the past few weeks.

Their fundraising effort culminated in a Spring Tea Party and Craft Fair which was held at the AOG church in Cairnbulg at the weekend.

At the event there was fun for all ages including face painting, a collection of local crafters and a guest appearance by a Minion which kept the many visitors entertained throughout the day.

And for the more sedate, there were plenty of teas and coffees to wash down the fantastic array of sandwiches and fancy pieces on offer.

In previous weeks Vicki and Audrey have in sold raffles at Tesco in the Broch for a grand draw which will take place later this week.

There is a huge collection of prizes on offer ranging from food hampers, wines and spirits through to a photoshoot.

All the prizes have been donated by local businesses and individuals.

Speaking after Saturday’s event, Vicki thanked everyone who had donated prizes and to all those who went along and supported the fundraiser.

With some money still to come in, a fantastic total of £1,450 has been raised so far.

The money will go towards the costs of arranging trips for the children at Westfield School.

A fantastic achievement by these two ladies.
